Atlanta superstar Lil Baby continued his commitment to his hometown over the weekend with the 6th Annual Back to School Fest, bringing thousands of students and families together for a major community celebration in Atlanta’s West End.
Held Saturday, July 25, at West End Production Park, Lil Baby and his nonprofit organization, The Jones Project, served approximately 4,000 students ahead of the new school year. Families received free school supplies, clothing, uniforms, haircuts, food, gift cards and giveaways, while games and other activities added to the day’s festivities.
Adding some Streetz energy to the event, the celebration was hosted by Streetz 94.5 FM’s very own Flexgangslim, helping keep the crowd engaged throughout a day focused on Atlanta’s youth, families and community.
The annual event has become part of Lil Baby’s ongoing effort to give back to the West End community that helped shape him. Through The Jones Project, that mission continues with an emphasis on providing resources and opportunities for local children and families.
From getting students prepared for the classroom to bringing the community together, this year’s Back to School Fest was another major showing of hometown support from one of Atlanta’s biggest artists.
