ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta hip-hop icon Ludacris is bringing the energy home this summer as part of the city’s FIFA World Cup festivities. Organizers announced that Ludacris will headline a free concert at Piedmont Park on July 19 as Atlanta celebrates the conclusion of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The event, titled “Soccer and Sound,” will combine live music, international culture, family-friendly activities, food vendors, and soccer-themed experiences for fans from around the world.
The free concert is one of several major events planned throughout Atlanta during the tournament. In addition to the Piedmont Park performance, Ludacris is also scheduled to perform during the FIFA Fan Festival at Centennial Olympic Park, where fans can watch World Cup matches on giant screens, enjoy live entertainment, and take part in interactive fan experiences. The festival is expected to attract thousands of visitors as Atlanta hosts eight World Cup matches, including a semifinal.
City leaders say the concert is designed to showcase Atlanta’s music culture while welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors expected to travel to the city during the World Cup. As one of Atlanta’s most recognizable artists, Ludacris’ participation highlights the city’s influence on global music and entertainment. Organizers are encouraging fans to register early for World Cup-related events and prepare for what is expected to be one of the largest celebrations in Atlanta’s history.
