Metro Boomin Firmly Rejects Sexual Assault Charges in Court

0

During a recent civil trial, record producer Metro Boomin strongly denied allegations of sexual assault made by plaintiff Vanessa LeMaistre, asserting that their encounters were consensual and disputing claims of misconduct.

Allegations & Denial

LeMaistre accuses Metro Boomin of administering drugs, sexually assaulting her, and impregnating her without her consent back in 2016. In her testimony, she described having taken a sedative and attending a studio session, where she says she was given an injection, became incapacitated, and was later transported to a hotel. According to her account, this incident derailed the past nine years of her life.

Metro Boomin refuted these claims during his testimony, stating that he had two consensual sexual encounters with LeMaistre in 2016—with protection—and maintained that the allegations are baseless. He reportedly called them “preposterous” and said he could not fathom such accusations. When asked whether he had assaulted his accuser in any way, he responded unequivocally: “Absolutely not … No way in the world.” HotNewHipHop

Courtroom Details & Disputed Evidence

LeMaistre’s testimony introduced handwritten notes she says are personal journals. One entry from 2017 references a meeting with Metro, while another entry from 2024 mentions an ayahuasca trip and “blowing the whistle.” The defense challenged the reliability of these entries and claimed LeMaistre had altered prior documents—for example, pregnancy records—in a way that would support her narrative. In support of their position, Metro Boomin’s legal team presented a clinical psychologist who testified that LeMaistre showed signs of borderline personality disorder with psychotic features; however, her documented clinical diagnosis is major depressive disorder. HotNewHipHop

Both sides rested their case on Wednesday, and closing arguments were scheduled for Thursday, September 25. HotNewHipHop
