IT ONLY TOOK 1 HOUR FOR THE JURY TO ACQUIT WAKA FLOCKA!!
In October 2014, Waka Flocka was arrested at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport for carrying a handgun in his bag. After his arrest and throughout the four day trial Waka Flocka insisted that it was a huge mistake.
He said that he was rushing for a trip to Dallas and he accidentally packed his wife Tammy’s backpack instead of his own and didn’t know her gun and 30 bullets were still inside. After Waka’s arrest, Tammy told RumorFix, “He thought he took everything out of the bag but it still had my headphones and handgun that is registered in my name.”
Attorney Drew Findling backed up his clients evidence by providing a photo of the couple on TMZ walking together with matching book bags right before the incident and the jury found Waka not guilty.
The Atlanta rapper celebrated the not guilty verdict after being on trial for four days. He shared his thoughts on twitter by saying, “Four days on trial…. Not guilty,” with the hand praise emoji.
