The matchup featured the Georgia Spartans men’s basketball team going head-to-head with Positive American Youth, creating nonstop action on the court with fans cheering from tip-off to the final buzzer. But the game was only part of the experience—this year’s classic delivered far more than entertainment.
With support from Streetz 94.5 and Atlanta Metropolitan State College, the event included a full food giveaway and distribution, ensuring local families received essentials heading into the holiday week. Attendees enjoyed free admission, along with halftime entertainment, live performances, and interactive moments that kept the energy high throughout the afternoon.

The Atlanta Turkey Classic once again proved that basketball can be more than a game—
it can be a bridge of support, unity, and gratitude.
As the crowd cleared and families headed home with food and full hearts, one message stood strong:
Atlanta takes care of Atlanta—and Streetz 94.5 is always right there in the center of the community.
Our Director: Solo was awarded an unexpected gift from the #GeorgiaSpartans recognizing his 13yr commitment to the annual #TurkeyClassic that started off with just a conversation… Solo said “we been going strong ever since… stay solid”
