United Airlines is expanding its winter flight schedule, rolling out new routes starting January 6, 2026. Among them is a fresh Houston-to-Atlanta connection, part of a broader push to boost domestic travel options during the busy holiday season.
The airline says the move comes as travelers demand more flexibility, while rivals like Spirit push back against suggestions they may not survive long-term. Along with Atlanta, United is also adding flights to Las Vegas, Orlando, Miami, and new international routes into Central America.
Tickets are already on sale, with United touting the changes as a way to give passengers “more options and stronger connectivity” this winter.
