Atlanta Hawks point guard Trae Young suffered a concussion during Saturday night’s game vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers, the team announced Sunday.

Young left the game with 8:43 remaining after taking a charge from Isaac Okoro.

Young was hit in the face by an inadvertent elbow, stayed on the court for a few minutes and walked back to the locker room with the Hawks trailing by 25. He did not return after scoring 15 points.

“After an evaluation by the team’s athletic training and medical staff, Young has been diagnosed with a concussion,” the Hawks said in a statement Sunday.

Young will now go through the NBA’s concussion protocol. There’s no timetable for his return, according to the team.
