Police say two people are dead and 5 more are injured after someone in a pickup truck shot into a crowd of people in Edgewood.
Police said the drive-by shooting happened on Mason Ave. around 5:45 p.m. Police said the person in the truck fired multiple shots into the group of people.
Police are searching for a black pickup truck and said they don’t know the motive for the shooting.
Some of the victims were taken to the hospital via ambulance and others were taken in private cars.
“We believe there could be several more victims,” Atlanta Police spokesman Officer Anthony Grant said.
Two of the victims died and five more are stable. Their identities haven’t been released.
