A man is in police custody and has been charged for allegedly having sex with a dead woman outside a homeless shelter in Georgia.
According to the Daily Mail, the incident happened Sunday morning. Bibb County officers responding to a 911 call were dispatched to the 100 block of Walnut Street, following reports that two people were having sex on the front steps of the property. From there, deputies say they discovered 55-year-old Kenny Obryn Whitehead outside the Daybreak Resource Center having sex with the woman.
Cops then told Whitehead to put on his clothes on before realizing that the woman was not alive. Emergency services told officials that she “had been deceased for some time.” According to Fox5 Atlanta, officers are now currently investigating the woman’s cause of death though they do not suspect foul play. They are not going releasing the identity of the woman until next of kin have been informed of her death.
As for Whitehead, he has been charged with necrophilia and is being held without bond.
Daily Mail reports that his crime carries a maximum prison sentence of up to two years behind bars.
