Police are investigating a carjacking attempt where they say a group fired gunshots at a driver as he tried to escape.
East Point police said a group in a BMW SUV pulled into a Racetrac near Camp Creek Parkway before 1 p.m.
When the carjackers tried to steal a man’s car, police say he refused to hand over his keys.
The group fired shots at the man as he ran into the store, according to investigators.
Channel 2′s Tyisha Fernandes got a look at the victim’s car and counted at least six different bullet holes in the side of it.
