Tekashi 6ix9ine’s father has spoken out after the rapper was sentenced to two years in prison Wednesday (Dec. 18).
The rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was also given five years of a supervised release after he pleaded guilty to racketeering and other charges earlier this year. He’ll be in prison for another 11 months after getting credit for the 13 months he’s already spent behind bars.
Considering he was facing 47 years, his sentence was said to be heavily reduced because he took the stand and testified against several of his alleged Nine Trey Bloods gang members.
