Charlotte Man Took $88K From Wells Fargo; Caught After Flashing Cash on FB
According to reports, a Charlotte, North Carolina man named Arlando Henderson allegedly stole $88,000 from Wells Fargo’s vault and afterward showed off the money via social media, which led to his capture.
An unsealed indictment uncovered the circumstance completely, showing that Henderson was under investigation by the FBI and was prosecuted in November 2019 for more than 30 counts of financial institution fraud, money laundering, embezzlement, burglary, and that’s only the tip of the iceberg. Henderson allegedly fixed the books to cover his tracks from stealing, at the end of the day he gave himself away when he was seen driving off the lot of a Charlotte Mercedes Benz vendor with another vehicle after putting down $20,000 in real money.
A photograph that Henderson posted on Facebook in San Diego eventually led the FBI to discover him and capturing him on December 4, 2019. Arlando Henderson’s arraignment has not been scheduled
