MARY J. IS MAKING SOME MAJOR POWER MOVES!
Grammy award-winning artist, Mary J. Blige announced that she will be the lead in the first spinoff from Starz’s hit show Power –which is set to end next year. Executive producers Courtney Kemp and 50 Cent both confirmed that Blige’s show will be called Power Book II: Ghost.
“Power Book II: Ghost will continue the journey of some of Power’s most controversial characters,” said Kemp.
For Blige, she said her new show will mark a new beginning for her.
“This is probably going to be the most exciting thing that will happen to me this year,” she said. “I’ve known so many Tashas, I’ve known so many Ghosts. I’ve dated so many Ghosts. “I’m a huge fan for life, and I’m so grateful to be a part of it.”
