Floyd Mayweather has had a contentious back and forth beef with several prominent rappers specifically 50 Cent and T.I. The undefeated boxing champion has taken to the Gucci store in the wake of a blackface controversy, which led to many people in the hip-hop community boycotting the fashion company. Floyd seemed not to care about the Gucci incident, and continued shopping with the company anyways. This led both T.I. and Floyd’s longtime friend turned enemy 50 Cent to issue responses, taking to the booth and Instagram.
After T.I’s Floyd diss, “Fu*k N***a,” Floyd took to Instagram to clap back. Mayweather posted a lengthy statement on his Instagram calling out those in the rap game for their misguided boycotts. Their hypocrisy within their lyrics and actions.
