Black History Month is among us!
The sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. are sending their love and appreciation to HBCU’s this month to celebrate black history. $1.6 Million will be donated to HBCU’s this month.This organization recently announced an endowment of $10 million to be distributed to 96 historically Black colleges and universities within the next four years. In February alone, the AKA’s will be donating $1.6 million and presidents of 32 HBCUs will go to AKA headquarters to receive $50,000 for their individual institutions. It is also said that this sorority is one of the most recent organizations to make a major donation to Bennet College! We love to see the support and service being shown through these incredible acts.
