After the serious rape allegations against artist, Chris Brown, a lot of people had something to say about his actions as it relates to his influence in the culture. One of those people who were on the more harsher side of the commentary, was rapper and talk show host, Eve. On her show, “The Talk,” Eve, says that Chris needs to, “use his brain and let his talent be the focus” and also proceeds to say that the allegations are just “a shame.”
Now that those charges have been dropped, Eve makes a public apology saying, ” At first I didn’t think what I said was harsh, but then I looked back it and it was kind of harsh.”
“It was only harsh because I’m passionate about the climate that we’re in right now with women and all these allegations coming out. My passion wasn’t geared towards Chris Brown and these specific allegations,”
She ends the video, assuring people that she is excited that he is not at fault anymore and the allegations were not true.
