Trump decides that two minutes tops is all he had for the acknowledgment of Martin Luther King Jr. today, he and Vice President Mike Pence stood for a moment of silence, turned to reporters saying “Good morning, everybody. Great day. Beautiful day. Thank you for being here. Appreciate it.” The visit lasted less than two minutes.
Trump failed to add any remarks about Martin’s legacy, let alone any appreciation to his accomplishments for the United States and begins to address the Democrats about the government shut down in relation to the wall he is pressed to have built.
