Rihanna Is Not With Sharing The Family Name
Although Rihanna is said to have maintained a good relationship with her father, Ronald Fenty, the pop star has reportedly sued him for using the family name to brand his new entertainment business.
Rihanna’s full name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, and the apparent issue is over her father’s new venture that he named “Fenty Entertainment.” Legal documents obtained by TMZ suggest that Rihanna sent her father multiple cease-and-desist letters before filing the lawsuit, that claims that by using the Fenty name her father is attempting to profit off her.
It should be noted that Rihanna has a business of her own entitled “Fenty Beauty,” which produces make-up and facial products. Meanwhile, Rihanna is reportedly asking for damages from her father and an injunction on his business that was set up in 2017.
Despite the legal action, it’s believed that Rihanna has kept in contact with her father, while they were last seen publicly together this past November celebrating the 90th birthday of Rihanna’s grandfather in Barbados.
