IGGY AZALEAS BACKUP DANCER SUFFERED SEIZURE
During Iggy Azalea’s concert in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Thursday night one of her three backup dancers passed out. Iggy was singing one of her hit songs “Black Widow,” when one of her dancers unexpectedly dropped to the ground. The rapper continued to perform, careless of her dancers health. While performing, she called for a medic to come onstage, before finally finishing her performance. Still, Iggy became the issue of an abundance of backlash and judgment because of her choice to finish performing. Later, Iggy made a post on Instagram discussing why she made the choice of performing. Her decision in regards to the backup dancer was made because she “thought she had just fallen/twister her ankle and it may sound harsh but; you keep singing until the music stops & ask for a medic which is what I did.” She also let her fans know that her backup dancer was feeling okay. “Just want to let everyone asking know my dancer is OKAY!”, Iggy announced, “The light and heat caused her to have a seizure.”
