The days just keeping better for “Get Out” director Jordan Peele. As he signed a deal with Amazon, giving them first look at all of his new ideas for television series.
The agreement is similar to the deals Netflix has recently made with talent, including Seth Rogan, Shonda Rhimes and Barack and Michelle Obama. Under the deal, Amazon will essentially have the right of first refusal for any of Peele’s TV series.
According to reports, Amazon has already made a 10-episode, straight-to-series order for a show called “The Hunt,” in which Peele will serve as executive producer. Amazon says the series centers on a group of people living in New York in 1977 who vowed to break up a band of Nazis trying to establish a Fourth Reich in the United States.
