Two years after getting engaged to James Packer and breaking things off months later, Mariah Carey has sold her 35-carat engagement ring. The ring initially valuing at $10 million, but according to sources, Mariah sold the ring for $2.1 million to a Los Angeles jeweler.
Mariah kept the ring as part of a financial settlement she made with Packer in 2017. Her publicist told media outlets, “Mariah has been very vocal recently about her choice to move forward in her life surrounded by positivity. That requires leaving emotional and material baggage behind, including an old engagement ring from an ex-boyfriend.”
