According to CNN, 80-year-old Morgan Freeman has been accused of sexual harassment. Sixteen people came forward to talk about Freeman’s behavior. Eight allegedly witnessed and eight allegedly experienced sexual harassment.
In one instance, a production assistant claimed that Freeman inappropriately touched and commented about her appearance on a daily basis, while working on “Going In Style,” a bank heist comedy starring Morgan Freeman. She also states that Freeman would rest his hand on her lower back or rub her lower back.
This was not the first time that Freeman has been accused of this type of inappropriate behavior on a movie set. In a separate incident, a senior member of the production staff of the movie “Now You See Me” revealed to CNN that Freeman made inappropriate remarks toward her and her female assistant, regarding their bodies, as well.
Although these alleged incidents have been reported, Freeman is considered innocent until proven guilty. This statement no way diminishes what these women have allegedly endured. What are your thoughts?
