DETAILS INSIDE!!!

Shortly after the two-year anniversary of the Prince’s passing, it was released that there would be no criminal charges filed or an investigation into the singers death.

However, according to Rolling Stone, his family has began the process of suing the hospital that Prince was treated at previously before his death. As well, they are suing Walgreens. Prince was treated at Trinity Medical Center in Moline, Illinois. He was there after he made an emergency landing because of an overdose Prince was suffering from. The family feels that the hospital did not properly assets Prince’s overdose.

It has been reported that his doctor, Dr. Nicole Mancha, and a hospital employee were to blame for misidentifying the pills that were already taken by Prince that caused him to overdose. His medicine was marked as, hydrocodone, however they later discovered that the pill was a counterfeit and contained fentanyl.

Investigators were unable to trace where Prince obtained the pills, so it made it impossible to charge anyone for his death. Although, his family is accusing the two Walgreens locations in Minnesota for, “dispensing narcotic prescription medications”  for invalid medical purposes.
