In Carroll County a college student at the University of West Georgia was kidnapped at a Kroger in Carrollton one evening in September. She was visiting the Kroger to get some tea as a man approached her asking if she had a lighter. She told him no and proceeded towards her car. After she reached her car she said the man came up behind her with a knife and forced her into her car. The victim stated the man hopped inside her car and drove the to down to Atlanta. She was able to text her boyfriend for help, who was then was able to spot her location via her iPhone and alerted the police. The police tracked the phone to an Ansley Park location and spotted the vehicle and chased it into an apartment complex. The driver crashed into several cars before running off. The suspect was identified as Timothy Wilson, 28.
