DID FARRAKHAN KILL MALCOLM X?
The 21st of February marks the 53rd anniversary of the assassination of Malcolm X. X was one of the most important figures in the Civil Rights movement, and his murder has long been suspected to have been orchestrated by Louis Farrakhan. Farrakhan, the controversial leader of the Nation Of Islam, has admitted to being complicit during the months leading up to Malcolm’s death, although he has vehemently denied being directly involved in the murder. Now, in a social media post, Farrakhan once again addresses the skeletons in his closet.
“I did not kill Malcolm X,” wrote Farrakhan in the post. He continued on to write, “The enemy is so frightened that black people listen to Farrakhan that they put it out that Farrakhan had something to with the murder of Malcolm X. This is how wicked the media is. Don’t you know as much as they hate me if they had any proof that I did something like that, don’t you know they’d take me off the street in the twinkling of an eye and bury me under the jail? I had nothing to do with my brother’s death, but I am what I am because I am a good student.”
Farrakhan goes on to praise his teacher, Elijah Muhammad, who also instructed Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali.
