Way back in 2014 after 50 Cent worked on “Animal Ambition” he was paid in bitcoin.
During that time the album pulled in about 700 bitcoin which was about $400K. As the cryptocurrency sat around over the years it accumulated in value.
The market has fluctuated and the bitcoin value is now worth about $10K to $12K per coin.
Now 50 Cent may well be in possession of about $8 million in Bitcoin. Allegedly the market is declining so 50 might want to collect his coins now.
