Mariah Carey has been quite the diva as usual. Mariah Carey is being sued for canceling two tour dates in South Africa and for blaming promoters via Twitter! She is being accused of bailing on a 2016 tour date in Argentina and another in Chile. The promoters, FEG Entretenimientos S.A., said Mariah canceled on both shows with hardly any notice and no excuse. FEG is seeking $500,000 in damages.
Mariah took to Twitter saying, ” They say the statement caused “irreparable damage” to their “reputation among both concertgoers and musical artists.”
For the defamation claim, they are seeking at least $2,000,000 in damages.
