SAD DAY IN ATLANTA!
Atlanta has learned that a longtime Atlanta news anchor died Wednesday after suffering a massive spontaneous stroke. The late Amanda Davis was at the Atlanta airport Tuesday when she was rushed to the hospital to undergo treatment, according to CBS46.
Amanda Davis joined CBS46 as a morning anchor in January and spent 26 years at WAGA-TV affiliated with FOX.
According a family friend, Davis was at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Tuesday, headed to San Antonio following the death of her step-father, when she heath deteriorated.
