Gwinnett County Police Department is now searching for a 27-year-old man Kevin Dawkins who escaped the East side medical clinic
Sunday night Kevin Dawkins escaped from the hospital after being arrested on a drug charge. Police say when they approached him he was in and out of conscious which made them use force on Dawkins.
Dawkins is now facing several charges from escaping including suspicion of cocaine possession. Police say Dawkins was last seen wearing blue pants and a blue shirt and has a chest tattoo that say “Wall Mart.”
