50 CENT ACCUSED BY STARZ OF LEAKING ‘POWER’ EPISODES…!
The final three episodes of the popular Starz drama Power were leaked online and fingers are reportedly pointing at 50 Cent, the co-executive producer and actor on the show. Fif took to Instagram and said the network accused him of purposely leaking the episodes. He ended the caption with the hashtag #50Centralbet, raising more eyebrows. The tag likely refers to BET ordering 24 episodes of 50’s sketch comedy/variety show 50 Central, but others have wondered if the popular show is on the move as well.
Things have been rocky between 50 Cent and Starz. On July 31, 50 insinuated Powerwasn’t getting the proper platform on the premium cable network and hinted at leaving in a similar Instagram post. In December of 2016, 50 Cent said he was no longer promoting the show outside of his contractual obligations after what he perceived to be a Golden Globes snub.
Despite the leaks and issues between the show runners, Power has gotten high ratings with its fourth season premiere drawing in 1.68 million viewers and a 3.2 rating among adults 18-49, according to Deadline.
