Adidas has a signature look, but it’s stepping out of the box to create a shoe that’s specific to every state in the U.S. for a special initiative. The company recently partnered with Refinery29 to select 12 women artists to make 50 Ultraboost X sneakers. The goal is to help “ladies unite creativity through sport and reflect the individuality of the nation.” Sold in an online auction, the proceeds will go towards Women Win, a charity devoted to advancing women’s leadership.
