WONDER WHY HE IS SUING?! STREETZ HAS THE DETAILS!!A man from Queens, New York named Aitabdel Salem decides to sue the city as well as his attorneys because Salem was unaware of notification that his bail was only 1 dollar. The bail in the beginning was 25,000 dollars, however, after prosecutors were unable to get an indictment for the police attack accusation the bail was lowered.
Back in 2014, Salem was arrested after he was accused of attacking a police officer who was trying to cuff him for alleged theft.
However, none of the officers told him that he was ordered to be free on November 28th, 2014 because his bail was reduced. Aitabdel Salem was informed 5 months later.
