Michael Brown, an unarmed black teenager, was shot and killed on August 9, 2014, by Darren Wilson, a white police officer. On November 24, the St.Louis County prosecutor reported that a grand jury did not indict the officer.
The shooting sparked something locally and nationwide as tension grew. Everyone had a say on the topic, from journalists and news anchors to civilians.
With the approval of his mother, Warner Bros. is going to bring his story to theaters near you.
Warner Brothers have allegedly won a fierce bidding war for the rights to a memoir co-written by Mike’s mother, Lezley McSpadden and novelist Lyah Beth Leflore, titled, “Tell the Truth & Shame the Devil: The Life, Legacy, and Love of My Son Michael Brown.”
