“FIND A JOB OR LOSE YOUR GOVERNMENT ASSISTANCE!”
Back in January, the state of Georgia passed a legislation which would mandate all able-bodied food stamp recipients over the age of 21 to be employed.
The deadline for this mandate is approaching in 3 days, meaning that if the people who fall into this category don’t have a job by April 1st, they will lose their assistance completely.
Over 12,000 people currently fall under the umbrella that this legislation will effect, so thousands of people are likely to lose their food stamps.
