OUT OF RETIREMENT JUST TO FIGHT CONNER MCGREGOR!
Floyd Mayweather Jr. coming out of retirement to fight with UFC star Connor McGregor. On Saturday, March 11, the 49-0 undefeated boxer announced that he was coming out of retirement solely to pursue the crossover match.
Floyd stated, “Everybody get your phone out … Post this to the internet as soon as possible.” Floyd Mayweather began to list off the times he had to travel into another fighter’s domain, take less money, and play second fiddle as the B-side. This was a reference to Conner McGregor’s claim that Floyd is purposefully pricing himself out because he actually doesn’t want to fight the Irish brawler.

“For Conor McGregor, I’m coming out of retirement, just to fight Conor McGregor. I don’t want to hear no more excuses about the money, about the UFC. Sign the paper with the UFC so you can fight me in June. Simple and plain, let’s fight in June, You’re the B-side. I’m the A-side. We’re not here to cry about money. I’m tired of all this crying about money and saying you want to fight. You’re blowing smoke up everyone’s butt, if you want to fight, sign the paperwork,” said Floyd.
