R&B singer Ray J has made the news today and drawing the curiosity of fans, as they receive word that he will reveal feeling a sense of responsibility over Whitney Houston’s death during Friday’s [Jan. 6] episode of Celebrity Big Brother.
In the days leading up to the R&B great’s Whitney Houston’s 2012 passing at the age of 48, she was rumored to have a fling with the singer Ray J who at the time was nearly two decades younger than she was. A few of days prior to her mysterious drowning death, she was reported to have had a fight with singer Stacy Francis. Coincidentally, during Friday’s episode of the reality series which airs tonight at 9 pm on CBS, Francis and Ray J find themselves opening up about what happened that night, with Francis sharing that she felt betrayed by Ray J’s failure to defend her, considering they had been long-time friends at the time. But in reminiscing, Ray J feels pressured to disclose his guilt over Whitney’s death, and the conversation takes a dark turn. Take a look at the clip below:
“It’s something that nobody can explain. It’s all my fault. All my fault,” Ray J tells Francis. She attempts to console him, urging him not to blame himself but he struggles to come to closure in the moment. “It’s all my fault,” he continues. “All of that that happened. I wasn’t there.”
