Earlier this week, the Golden Globe Awards nominations were revealed. The nominations included Denzel Washington, Issa Rae, Kerry Washington, and many more. A few TV series were nominated for best televisions series, however one TV show that seemed to be missing was the fan favorite series known as Power. Power is considered Starz highest rated show on their network, so it definitely comes as a surprise to know that the show was not nominated. 50 Cent, being the executive producer of the show, did not take this news lightly. He took to Instagram to display his anger towards the Golden Globes. 50 Cent stated “I’m on the move again, Golden Glob can suck a d***. I accept my series Power was not intended to be a signature show for the network but it is the highest rated show. I know my audience very well, I’m done promoting this outside of contractual obligations. season 4 Cannon must die. I got other sh** to do.” In a separate post, 50 cent posted a photo of Floyd Mayweather stating that he was passing the torch as executive producer over to him. “I’m off the Power train. Champ is going to do the show. Go to him for more info. I got to do something different.”
Mayweather has yet to respond to 50 cent’s recent outburst. the public is curious to know weather 50 cent is actually going to leave and allow Mayweather to take his place? Or is he just trying to gain attention and fuel up the situation in order to increase his audience?
