THE RAPPER ENCOURAGES HIS FANS TO “STAY WOKE AND VOTE”
It is easy to see why Chance the Rapper is Obama’s favorite rapper. He continues to prove that his interests go much further than rocking the mic.
On Monday, Chance the rapper hosted a free concert in downtown Chicago and afterwards led an enormous parade of voters to a polling place where they could cast their ballot early.
According to ABC 7, pre-election voting in Chicago has exceeded the records set in 2008 and 2012. More than 438,212 of those votes were cast on Monday night alone.
The Chicago rapper has been getting a lot of attention for encouraging his fan base to vote throughout the election. During his Magnificent World tour, fans had the opportunity to get registered to vote.
