Pebble’s is still coming for TLC….
TLC’s former manager Perri Reid aka Pebbles is moving forward in suing Viacom. Pebbles obviously didn’t like how she was portrayed in VH1’s biopic CrazySexyCool, based on TLC’s rise to the fame that was released back in Oct. 2013. Pebbles filed the lawsuit back in 2014 and has just now gotten clearance to move forward. Originally VH1wanted the case dismissed because they claimed that to their knowledge, Pebbles was portrayed as accurate as it could get, without any malice when they made the film. The judge agreed that Pebbles does have a case and encouraged both parties to prepare for trial, where a jury will decide if Pebbles is awarded $40 million or not. We can’t wait to see how this case is settled.
