Two of Hip-Hop’s biggest artist of all time, Tupac Shakur and Christopher “Biggie” Wallace was murdered and to this day, both cases still go unsolved. Have no fear, Johnny Depp is on the case. Depp is slated to play the role of Los Angeles Detective Russell Poole in the upcoming movie “Labyrinth”. Based on a true story from the book from 2003 “LAbyrinth” by Randy Sullivan. Johnny Depp will go deep undercover to prove that Suge Knight and a corrupt LAPD were behind the deaths of the late greats Tupac and Biggie.
The film is reported to start production sometime next year and is being directed by Brad Furman, who previously directed “The Lincoln Lawyer”. This is the latest Hollywood project that will depict the lives of the two hip-hop greats with the Tupac biopic “All Eyez on Me” already done filming.
