Independent investigation verified former Mayor was dishonest when he originally claimed that he bought gift cards for staff at Pandora on the Square. Investigators also obtained receipts showing purchases of beverages, clothing & even a transaction from a barbershop. Text messages were also recovered between the former mayor & an 18 year old student looking to join his mentor program along with explicit pictures & inappropriate messages mentioning “friends with benefits” .
