Police say a man is dead and a woman is injured after a shooting outside a northwest Atlanta club Friday night.
Police say they responded to reports about a person shot near a nightclub on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway around 8 p.m. The nightclub has been closed due to COVID-19 since March of 2020. A man who hasn’t been identified died at the scene. A woman was also shot and was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators determined that a fight between two men escalated and one of the men shot the victims.
Investigators believe that all three people knew each other. Police are working to identify the suspect.
