Gov. Brian Kemp, public health officials and other state leaders are giving an update on the coronavirus pandemic.
Channel 2 Action News has learned the governor’s office could issue new guidelines for businesses who have decided to reopen.
Here is what was discussed so far:
- The Department of Public Health will deploy 1,000 people to help with contact tracing.
- Kemp issued an executive order Tuesday live performance venues, bars and night clubs will stay closed through May 31.
- Strong urge Georgians to continue to wear face masks.
- Day cares will be able to hold 20 children in a single classroom. Will be held to strict criteria to keep everything clean.
