THEY DO ANYTHING FOR CLOUT
A lawsuit in August 2018 was filed against Trey Songz alleging that he assaulted a young lady by the name of Andrea Buera.
She claimed that she and he were attending an All-Star weekend party in Hollywood Hills where he got mad when he saw her talking to one of his friends. He allegedly proceeded to call her names, choke her, and punch her in the face, according to her. Of course, Trey Songz denied these allegations and made a statement via Twitter stating that he was being falsely accused for her personal gain.
His lawyer argued that any force the singer used against Buera was in self-defense and that any damages she suffered were due to her own conduct.
Due to lack of evidence, the Los Angeles District Attorney and City Attorney declined to file misdemeanor and felony charges against Trey.
