On the last day of pride month, June 30, 2019, 20-year-old rapper Lil Nas X made a post confirming his sexual identity as a member of the L.G.B.T.Q community hinting toward lyrics from a song on his debut EP “c7osure”. In his post, he said “some of yall already know, some of yall don’t care, some of yall not gone fwm no more. But before this month ends I want yall to listen closely to c7osure.” An this is true while celebrities like Miley Cyrus and Irv Gotti are in support other celebrities such as Lil Boosie saw otherwise. In the song c7osure Lil Nas X says ““Ain’t no more actin’, man that forecast say I should just let me grow. Later he says, “This is what I gotta do, can’t be regrettin’ when I’m old.” After this Lil Nas made 2 more posts saying “deadass thought I made it obvious” and “just cuz im gay don’t mean im not straight” What do you guys think about Lil Nas X coming out?
