A “RAP UNIT” HAD BEEN FORMED AND STREETZ HAS ALL THE DETAILS…
NYPD finally admits that they have a “rap unit” that focuses on crimes made at Hip Hop shows. The unit plan on sending undercover to rap shows that are considered low or high risk for drug-related or violent incidences. The “rap unit” is responsible for keeping tabs on any rapper that has done anything to catch the attention of this unit. Rap artist from New York like Tekashi to Remy Ma are amongst the artist being watched. NYPD claim their intention is to keep the public safe at events. however, many suggest they just looking for another reason to harass the Hip Hop community.
