So, remember about a week and half ago, Kodak got arrested at the Rolling Loud festival? Well, he was supposed to have been granted a pre-trial release, if he was able to post the $500k bond– but the feds want to keep Kodak behind bars! Federal prosecutors want to claim that due to Kodak’s previous criminal history, he is “too risky for bail.” The appeal filed is causing some important schedule conflicts for the rapper, because he is expected to be in South Carolina to face trial for his felony sexual misconduct charges.
In addition to paying the bail, Kodak and his team are proposing that the Florida courts put him on 24-hour, nonstop supervision in order for him to make all his required court appearances.
“Let me out, but keep me under 24-hour surveillance while I’m traveling.”
His legal team claims the feds don’t have evidence to support that he would be at risk if he was released.
