In October 2018, a video of an encounter between C-Note and a police officer went viral. In the clip, 12-year-old Corey “Lil C Note” Jackson is seen being roughed up by the officer while visiting the Cumberland Mall in Cobb County, Georgia after he was accused of illegally selling his CDs.

The officer then radioes for backup and warns the aunt not to “put her hands on” him again, while she cries out that he needs to let her nephew free.
Jackson was arrested following the altercation and faces charges of criminal trespassing, obstruction, and disorderly conduct with violence.
