Cardi B’s 2018 year was most definitely a movie. From becoming a mother and the debut double platinum album release, to cap it off. An incident during the Met Gala involving a fan beatdown during 2018 almost derailed her success. Yesterday, it came back to haunt her as she was handed lawsuit papers over the incident while making her way onto the set of her upcoming Netflix show.
Paparazzi caught Bartier Cardi walking on the set where she’s filming her upcoming Netflix series, Rhythm + Flow. Cardi’s heard telling the photographers to edit pictures of her properly if they’re going to be taking pictures of her in the first place. However, once she pulls up to the door, a man’s hand pops out into the frame. The man holds out a small stack of papers and drops it in front of her while referencing a “lawsuit.” Cardi seemingly ignored the papers and continued to walk through the doors.
Cardi B and Offset are both involved in the lawsuit. The two were accused by the alleged victim Giovanni Arnold of trying to dodge the lawsuit. At the time, he said that he didn’t serve Cardi B the lawsuit after filing it out of respect to her “seven months pregnant at the time of the assault and, out of respect and consideration for her and her baby’s well being, as well as that of her finance, Offset, I chose not to immediately serve” the couple.”
