ROSEANNE BLAMES IT ON THE DRUGS
Actress/comedian Roseanne Barr is in hot water after her recent racial remarks she made towards to former President Obama’s advisor Valerie Jarrett. She took to Twitter and compared Jarrett to Planet of the Apes. Her tweets led to the cancellation of her reboot of show “Roseanne”.
She went on to apologize for comparing Jarrett to Planet of The Apes, and apparently left Twitter for a couple of hours. After the Rosanne reboot was canceled , Rosanne went back to Twitter to apologize again while also minutely defending why she made her tweets.
She stated that she was on the popular sleep aid Ambien when she made those tweets and although it’s not an “excuse” she’s done “weird stuff” while on the sleep aid drug.
